Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance. - Confucius

To start off with Hawking's quote, "The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, but the illusion of knowledge". Many people being in such illusion, try to be a 'hero' at the cost of pulling others' legs. They feel themselves superior by mocking at others, there by proving themselves to be that empty vessels, which alone make much noise. Any person who has touched the surface of knowledge, will be very afraid, as the more you know, the more you realize the realms and extent of ignorance. About all those people who pull others' legs, make fun of others, regardless of others' age (mocking people who are elder to us), experience etc., are mere 'fools'.

These are the five signs of fools - Pride, abusive language, anger, stubborn arguments and disrespect for other people's views.

As the sun destroys the darkness, the sun of knowledge, knocks the fools, and demolish their kingdom.

While the laughter of joy is in full harmony with our deeper life, the laughter of amusement should be kept apart from it. The danger is too great of thus learning to look at solemn things in a spirit of mockery, and to seek in them opportunities for exercising wit. - Lewis Caroll.
